What did God promise Joshua? God promised to give Joshua every part of the land which God had promised; He would be with him so that nobody would be able to stand up against him

What did God tell Joshua to do for success? Be strong and of good courage; study and meditate on God’s word to be careful to keep His word

What did Joshua tell the people in the camp? Get ready to enter the land in three days

What did Joshua tell the tribes who would settle east of the Jordan? To remember the agreement made with Moses; they had to leave their families and go with the men to fight west of the Jordan till the mission was completed

What did they say to Joshua? We will do whatever you tell us, we will go wherever you send us; God be with you as He was with Moses; anyone who rebels against you shall be put to death; be strong and of good courage

Why did Joshua send two men to Jericho? To spy out the land

Where did they hide in the city? In Rahab’s dwelling

What promise did they make in exchange for Rahab’s help? To save and her family

What sign did the men require of Rahab so she and her family would be saved alive? Hang the scarlet rope out the window in the wall where she and her family would be

What parallels do you see between Rahab and the Passover? By faith, something red is put at an opening in the house as a sign to save all those who are inside that house from the ones sent by God to destroy a heathen nation

What report did the spies bring when they returned? The Lord has delivered the land to us, and the people are afraid of them
