Divorce is not allowed for two different cases in chapter 22. What are they? If a man falsely accuses his wife of not being a virgin when they got married, he may not divorce ever her; if an unengaged couple commit fornication, the man must pay the bride price for her and marry her if her father allows it; if they marry, they can never divorce

What kind of fornication is punishable by death, and what kind of fornication is not punished with death? Punishable by death: if a girl is accurately accused of fornication before marriage, she is to be stoned for playing the harlot while living in her father’s house; any man with a married woman or a woman betrothed to be married; rape in the city for both parties; rape in the country only for the man; incest.
