When and where were the Israelites to keep the Passover? The anniversary of their departure from Egypt (14th day of the month of Abib) every year in the place that God chooses to put His Name

Where did the Feast of Weeks get its name? they were to count seven weeks from the Sabbath after the Passover

When were all men to present themselves before the Lord? At the three yearly feasts (Feast of Unleavened Bread, Feast of Weeks, and Feast of Tabernacles)

What was necessary to bring when they came? Offerings as the Lord had blessed them

What guidelines were given for judges? Not to convict someone on the testimony of only one witness; the witnesses are to be the first to execute the judgment

If there is a report about idolatry, what was to be done about it? It is to be investigated and punished if it is a true report

What kinds of paganism are listed in chapter 17? Idols made by men or worshiping the sun, moon, or the stars

Who was to decide the more difficult cases? The priests

What was the punishment for contempt for the judges and their decisions? death

Was it God’s intention that Israel have a king? yes

What kind of king was he to be? An Israelite, spiritually-minded, unselfish

What would be his responsibilities? To write, and then daily read a copy of all the law; he is to practice it in his life and make decisions for Israel based upon its words

What did the Levites receive because they had no inheritance as did the other tribes? A tithe (10%) from all the other tribes, and portions to eat from offerings

What practices are forbidden in chapter 18? Human sacrifices, witchcraft, soothsaying, interpreting omens, sorcery, conjuring spells, psychics, spiritism, talking to the dead

Who would come and speak the word of God? A prophet like Moses from among Israel

How would people know if a prophet was sent by God? If what he says in the Lord's name comes true
