List what God made on each day in chapter 1:
First day: light
Second day: the sky to separate water on the earth from water above the earth
Third day: the seas by separating the water from the land; vegetation
Fourth day: the lights for day (sun) and night (moon and stars) and for measuring time
Fifth day: birds and fish
Sixth day: beasts, creeping the things, and man
In whose image did God make man? God said, “Our image” in verse 26; verse 27 says In God’s image and in “His” image
What did God do on the seventh day? He rested or ceased from His work of creating
On what day did the events in chapter two, verses four through 25 occur? The sixth day
What responsibilities did the man have? To populate the earth; to subdue the earth and rule over it; to take care of the garden; not to eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil
Concerning the trees in the garden, what did God allow the man and what did he prohibit? He could eat from all the trees in the garden, including the tree of life; he was prohibited from eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil
