Where did Job live? the land of Uz
What kind of man was he? blameless and upright; he feared God and avoided evil
Why would Job offer a sacrifice for his children every morning? he was concerned that they may have sinned and cursed God in their hearts
Who confronted God in Heaven? Satan
What was Satan doing on earth? roaming around, going to and fro
How did God describe Job in His talk with Satan? exactly as verse 1 does blameless and upright; he feared God and avoided evil)
For what motive did Satan accuse Job of serving God? because he made him rich and secure
According to Satan, what would Job do if he lost all he had? curse God to His face
What limitation did God place on Satan for this first test? not to touch Job
How did Job lose his oxen and donkeys and servants? Sabeans came and took them
How did Job lose his sheep and servants? fire from the sky
How did Job lose his camels and servants? Chaldeans came and took them
How did Job lose his children? a great wind blew down the house they were in, so they died
What was Job’s reaction to losing everything? he mourned his loss and he worshiped God and blessed His name
What was the second test Satan made for Job? to strike his flesh and bones to get Job to curse God
What limitation did God place on Satan? don't kill him

How did Job answer her advice? that is was foolish advice; they should be willing to accept bad things from God just as they had received good things from Him
