How did God demonstrate His presence on Mt. Sinai? Thunder, lightning, thick cloud on the mountain; fire, smoke, the mountain quaked; then God spoke from the mountain
List the 10 commandments.
1. no other gods before the Lord
2. no graven images
3. do not take the Lord’s name in vain
4. remember the Sabbath day (seventh day of the week)
5. honor father and mother
6. do not murder
7. do not commit adultery
8. do not steal
9. do not bear false witness
10. do not covet anything of your neighbor
What specific instructions did God give concerning worship? Altar of earth is not to be of hewn stone; no steps to be used
