What is the difference between a sin offering and a trespass offering?
What command did God give concerning the fire of the brazen altar? It must kept continually burning
Where were the ashes taken? Outside the camp to a clean place
Where must the priest eat their part of the offerings? A holy place in the court of the tabernacle
Of which grain offering could the priests not eat? The grain offering for the priests themselves
Of which sin offering could the priests not eat? Those of which the blood is applied inside the tabernacle
What did the priest who did the work of the trespass offering keep for himself? The skin of the burnt offering, the flesh for food, all the cooked grain offerings
What must accompany the fellowship offering? Unleavened cakes or wafers, plus leavened bread
Which part of a fellowship offering is given to the Lord? The fat and the blood
Which part is given to the priests? The breast and the right thigh
Who else eats a part of it? The man who offers the sacrifice
What limitations are placed on the eating of it? Can’t eat any piece that touches anything unclean; anyone who eats must also be clean; can’t have leftovers beyond one day
