What did the Levites have to do to be consecrated for service to the Lord? Moses was to sprinkle the water of purification upon them, then they were to shave their bodies and wash their clothes. Then they were to bring a young bull for a burnt offering and a young bull for a sin offering; the Israelites are to lay their hands on the Levites, and Aaron offers them as a wave offering to the Lord; then the Levites put their hands on the bulls to be offered, and the offerings are made; then Moses presents the Levites to the Lord as a wave offering.
