What was done to dedicate Aaron and his sons as priests? They were washed, they were dressed, they were anointed with oil. A bull and two rams were sacrificed; the blood of the bull was applied to the horns of the altar and the rest poured at the base of the altar; blood of one ram was sprinkled on the altar all around; the blood of the second ram was applied to the right ear, right big toe, and right thumb of the priests and the rest sprinkled on the altar. The fat of the bull was burned on the altar and the rest of it was burnt as a sin offering for them; the first ram was cut in pieces, washed, and burned on the altar as an offering. The fat of the second ram and the unleavened loaf, cake, and wafer are waved as a wave offering then burnt on the altar as a burnt offering; the breast is also waved and to be eaten by the priests; the thigh was a heave offering that was also eaten by the priests as a peace offering.
