How were the firstborn of all the tribes of Israel (who were already born) redeemed? By the separation of the Levites from the rest of the tribes to serve God

What were the three main families of the tribe of Levi? Kohath, Gershon, and Merari

Which Levites camped on the west side of the tabernacle? The Gershonites

What did they take care of? The curtains, coverings, and ropes of the tabernacle

Which family camped on the south side? Kohathites

What were their responsibilities? The holy things of the tabernacle service

Who camped on the north side? The Merarites

What were their responsibilities? All the boards and posts, bases, etc.

What was the difference between the number of Levites and the number of firstborn from all the other tribes? 273
