Psalm 120

Where did the psalmist live? Meshech and Kedar (in exile far away from Jerusalem)

What were the people like? Deceitful, hating peace and loving war

Psalm 121

What is the theme of Psalm 121? God will take care of you

What does the Lord NOT do? Sleep or slumber; nor allow your foot to be moved

Psalm 122

What is the occasion for Psalm 122? Going to the temple to worship the Lord

What greetings did the Israelites give? "May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls,prosperity within your palaces." and “Peace be within you.”

Psalm 123

Where does the psalmist look? To God in Heaven

What mercy does he want from God? The contempt and scorn of those at ease and the proud
