What are the conditions before the promise applies to someone? Trust in the Lord, love for the Lord

God is praised for what two things? His lovingkindness and His love
To what are the wicked compared? grass
How are the wicked like grass? Their glory and life are very brief, then perish forever
To what are the righteous compared? Palm tree, cedar in Lebanon
How are the righteous like trees? Bear fruit, live long
Psalm 93
What is the emphasis on God in Psalm 93? The Lord as King over His creation
Psalm 94
What does the psalmist request in Psalm 94? Vengeance against God’s enemies
What warning is directed to the evil in verses 8-11? God knows what is in the heart and all secret actions
What man is “blessed” in Psalm 94? The one that God teaches (the one who learns and follows God’s teaching)
What help did the Lord give? To stand up against evil doers; comfort within his heart; a declaration of innocence at trial
Psalm 95
How are people told to show respect for God? Sing praise; bow down; kneel
Why? Because He is great and He is our Creator
What admonition is given in Psalm 95? Do not harden our hearts as those who rejected God’s offer to enter the Promised Land
