Psalm 116

How did the psalmist feel about God because He saved him? He loves the Lord

Why did he tell his soul to be at rest? The Lord had dealt bountifully with him (answered his prayers)

Why did God save him from death? God is gracious, merciful, and righteous; David made a vow to God if he would be saved

How does God feel about the death of His saints? Their deaths are precious to Him

Psalm 117

Who is told to praise the Lord? All Gentiles (non-Israelites) and all peoples (Israelites)

For what reason? His merciful kindness is great to us and His truth endures forever

Psalm 118
