Psalm 65

What kind of psalm is Psalm 65? A song of praise

What blessings are mentioned in this psalm? He hears prayer, provides atonement for sin, priests, answers to prayer, peace and calm in the world, water, abundance of sheep and grain because of the rain

Psalm 66

For what events is God praised in Psalm 66? Crossing of the Red Sea and crossing the Jordan River

What admonition is in verse 7? Do not let the rebellious rise up

What would have prevented God from listening to David’s prayer? If he would have regarded iniquity in his heart

Psalm 67

Why did God’s people want God to be gracious to them? To glorify Himself among the nations

What does this psalm anticipate? The inclusion of Gentiles as God’s people

Psalm 68

Who rides on the clouds? God whose name is YAH

What is David telling in verses 7-14? The giving of the Law at Mt. Sinai

How do verses 18-20 apply to Christ? Ephesians 4:10 applies v.18 to Christ, and He is our savior, the God of our salvation
