Psalm 107

What is the difference between the first four verses of each psalm? Psalm 60 is from the viewpoint of those rejected by God and asking for His help; Psalm 108 praises God for His mercy and truth
Psalm 109
Who were David’s enemies in Psalm 109? Those he had loved; his close friends
Why did David wish for his enemy’s suffering? That he reap what he sowed (be found guilty, lose his home and position, that his physical line end, that he not receive sympathy from others; that he be covered with the cursing he loved so much)
What did they do to David? They lied about him; they blasphemed him; they cursed him; they reproached him; condemned him
What will the Lord do to them? Cause them to be ashamed, let them dishonor themselves (reap what they sow without forgiveness)
What will the Lord do for David? Deliver him from their lies; save him from their bad deeds
Psalm 110
Who is talking to whom in verse 1? Jehovah is talking to David’s Lord (The Father speaking to Jesus)
Who is David addressing in verses 2-4? His Lord, His descendant (Christ)
How long would the Lord be priest? forever
How would he be a priest like Melchizedek? He would be a king on His throne at the same time
