Who is Abishag? A young Shunammite virgin selected to be a wife for David warm in his old age (without sexual relations)

Who is Adonijah? Son of David whose mother was Haggith

To whom is Adonijah compared and how? In verses 6 & 7, he is next in line after Absolom; he was handsome as was Absolom; David parented him as he did Absolom; both tried to usurp the throne

Why did Nathan the prophet give Bathsheba advice? Adonijah made himself king and was planning to get rid of Bathsheba and Solomon and their supporters such as Nathan, Zadok, Benaiah, and others

What did David command to be done to proclaim Solomon as king? Have the servants put Solomon on David’s personal mule,; go to Gihon where Nathan and Zadok anoint Solomon as king, blow trumpets and proclaim Solomon as king then return to Jerusalem to sit on the throne
