What advice did Solomon’s advisers give Rehoboam about tax relief? Do as the people asked, and they would be loyal forever

Whose advice did Rehoboam seek besides the elders? Be more harsh than Solomon with taxes

Why was Adoniram killed? He was the tax collector

What did Rehoboam intend to do because of this? Make war with the rebellious tribes of Israel

Why did he change his mind? A message from God through Shemaiah the prophet not to fight with Israel because it was God’s will that Israel separate from Judah

What did the Levites give up to come to Judah? Their property and lands outside the cities

How does 11:17-23 describe the rule of Rehoboam? as wise, good, and prosperous
