How did this help Israel win the war with Moab? The Moabites saw the red morning sun reflected by the water and assumed it was blood from the three countries killing each other; they didn’t expect to find all that water in the desert, so they walked into a trap
What did the men do to the land of Moab? Destroyed the towns and put rocks in all their fields, stopped up all the springs and cut down all the trees
What did the king of Moab do when he lost the battle with Israel? He tried to attack Edom; he even sacrificed his son for his gods’ favor but to no avail
